Dontcha?

Ummm so today at school was about as basic as normal...minus health class which we won't get into lol. So ummm last night i had a really strange dream (as i'm sure everyone else has had one or two of). I wonder sometimes dreams can truly be interpretted or have some meaning....Joseph and Jacob come to mind when i think of this. Joseph was known for interpretting dreams. Does this actually happen? Or is it a Biblical metaphor for something else. Jacob also had a dream in which angels were climbing down a ladder or something of that sort i believe. So the question arises whether or not dreams mean anything. Is there really a bid philosophy behind it all? Or is it the brain having a field day while no logical thinking is needed?
So ponder this with me. I mean obviously if you have a dream about roaming with the dinosaurs or something along that sort it doesn't mean a t-rex is gonna come knockin on your door. But if in the dream you ran away from the dinosaur...could this mean that you need to face one of your fears? Do all dreams have meanings....? Do any dreams have meanings....? I saw once of a guy a while back that in his dream he saw a plane crash for some technical reason...he thought nothing of this but sure enough a week later or so it happened...this was a reoccuring theme for this guy. Was this a bunch of baloney? Or is this legit? Will the world ever know? What do you think?

Thanks for asking. I think dreams are based on the thoughts in our head that we do not allow to come to true comprehension so they come out when we do not control our thoughts.

Dude, I just came across this blog and it is most totally awesome. Like, I think dreams are a way for us to communicate between our conscious and subconscious minds. A lot of people try to get all spacey and philosophical and stuff when it comes to dreams, but don't believe them. I know when I catch a totally awesome wave, it is like a dream come true, but not really a real dream, which isn't really real anyway, you know what I mean!! It's like I always tell my little dude squirt, dreams are totally awesome, but reality RULES!!. Dude!!!

I think Sonya and Crystal are both right. Sometimes they are nothing but little movies to amuse our sleeping minds and other times they do have meaning, the trick is knowing which is which and what on Earth they mean.
