ok i give in. i'll post. ok so i'm pretty pumped about scrooge on sunday. so that outta be fun. other theater news....auditions for the "actual winter play" are two weeks from this monday (it's the 17th and 18th) so taht outta be fun. my theater teacher apporoached me today w/ 2 scripts asking me to go thru them for i'll prolly be in a performance at regional thespian conference and possibly state...so that's cool.

so auditions for Scrooge (winter musical like thingy) were monday and i got casted as...drumroll plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.........Jacob Marley (u kno the ghost guy?) well i have a solo so i'm pretty pumped about that and we're doing it in the round which should also be fun!

ohhhhh gee....well....almost finished w/ kingdom keepers for the second time (just started back up on it a couple of days ago) but the second isn't coming out until summer 08 :( :(....i'm stuck here watching an old movie w/ billy ray cyrus w/ a verry large mullet...snore............finally to bowing my cello :) i love it......ummm....going to someone's bday party tonight...that outta be....interesting lol..hmmmmm mcn killed fenwick last night so that was nice and ummmm we were on the news for our walk day yesterday...also nice....ummmm that's all for the moment...cyuh

CELLO? it's a bass!

that title is from the movie school of rock by the way if u didn't know. soooooo i'm pretty pumped bout the cello..i'm getting decent at it pizzicato anyway (pizz means plucking) but yea it's fun...i've also been making some cadences w/ my tri toms (marching like pitch drums). so yea we saw Dracula yesterday at playhouse for a theater field trip...it was amazing..the SFX were amazing..

New toy

ok so got this recording thing from the wedding for the party gifts or what not...(thank u B n A)....so i knew it like recorded all this diff stuff so i was pumped..so i've been playin w/ it all day and recording songs and stuff....things got some RANGE!! well about ehhh 2 hours ago found out i can plug my guitar into it (already knew that part) and put effects on my playing muahahah so basically i can make my electric sound like a heavy metal guitar distortion and such and then switch over to BB king blues.....oh and u can record like four things and put them together so i could record vocals, lead guitar line, bass line, and a drum part all and put it together ahaha it's awesome lol

Last one i swear...here's an attempt w/ the words....this is what we call....a crash and burn in the music business lol...enjoy?

theater

So....first thespian meeting was yesterday.....i now have all the info about the upcoming season...i'm in theater 2 this year as a class so i have more opportunities to do stuff....so including talent show i'll be in 6 shows(hopefully) this year.....our fall show is called rumours and is a very fast paced comedy. my audition is tues 4:30 (wish me luck). The winter play (usually a drama) now a comedy this year called Greater Tuna....(ihni what it's about). The musical is still unknown to me.......buta good suprise this year.......we are kinda doing a second musical
we are doing Scrooge (in the round). in the round simplay means the audience is all around u....we will be doing this in one of the gyms and the audience will be within feet of us...should be amazing. the band is gonna be the "orchestra" and the choir will kinda be the "choir" of the musical. I'll also be in the theater 2 showcase which is usually one act plays so that should be fun too.....so i'm pretty pumped about this year..it'll be one thing after another.....yay........well i'm out...and remember "Act well your part. There the honor lies." (thespian motto)

MUSIC

Decided I love disney music....lol....just copied a bunch of it to put on the iPod. i have still yet to see the videos from disney.......*cough cheryl cough*......ii'm majorly putting off summer reading projects but i'll get them done easily in time lol.....found an amazing acapella group i wanted to be in..it's pretty elite and such...unfortunately u need a voice coach for at least 1 year to be in it.... www.macxima.org they have some songs they sang....coffee calling is a good one if anyone cares to take a look at it lol ooooook i'm done posting for the moment maybe more later

OOOOOOOOOOOK!!! hehe umm i just finished the big book last night. I have still yet to read the little book and do the project but that should be easy. ummmmmmmm basically pretty bored....so not looking forward to school monday...but i am looking forward to seeing friends (yes i have them lol) and getting back involved again w/ theater and MFYC...so yea..

OK well i know i haven't posted in a while////ok a long while but i am now....i'm currently posting from outside looking up at the sky (not paying attention to what i type really). I'm now star gazing at the Perseid Meteor shower. It's supposed to be the most action of meteors in a long time. I've already seen one beautiful meteor come crashing into the atmosphere causing a flash of blinding light. This recent meteor shower is really ironic becauase the summer reading book i'm reading involves meteorites, so that's cool. Fluffy and boots are flippin out cuz there's a person in the dark and they dont kno who it is lol, as soon as i called them they relaxed. i'll be back outside around 1 when it's supposed to get really good in the skies. I'm now going to go get some bug spray for i am getting eaten up....ciao.

Whoa

OMG guess what?! tomorrow, may 25th is the last day of actual classes for me! the last week is next week which is exam week :( but that's ok cuz there's 5 more days!!!!!!!!!!!! oh and mcnick baseball team won their game yesterday and are playing today for regional champions....there's a decent chance we can go to state!....i can't believe this....i said it would never happen...but...i have school spirit @ mcn? ahhh!

Disney Delight

Thought I'd give an update on my Disney stuff...

45 DAYS TILL WDW TRIP!!!! lol woot!
Mom just gave me my "Part of Easter Part of Birthday present" as she called it.....The LION KING tickets to see at the aranoff.. yea that's right be jealous lol
McNicholas High School (ya i go there), we are preforming Roger's And Hammerstein's CINDERELLA..while this is not the disney version, it is somewhat similar.

We are preforming April 27,28, and a 29th matinée.

Next week is quote un quote "hell week" as they call it and for good reason. major crunch time for the musical..it should well...I hope..lol

In a confuscious state of mind

i just finished talking to my friend (yes i have a friend) about some deep philisophical stuff. much stuff no one would get but us cuz of the context in which all was said. but anyway we were talking about a state in which we've decided to call the "Confuscious State of Mind" (named after the philosopher that created the belief of confuscionism (sp?)) anyway we talked of the catalysts that send us to this state. some examples were life changing experiences, some songs, discussions, etc i was wondering what makes you wonder about deep stuff? is it the taking away of something that u want? the gaining of what u want? or just a certain song? so what makes you think about life?

Surgery

Ok well everyone's been getting on me about not posting so here's a nice image for ya. and since everyone was posting their prego bellies i thought i'd add this. We all know dad had surgery and i happened to notice that his incision looked like a smile...so my mom drew some nice eyes on him. lol
